Our History

Interior Transformation existed as Clateman Painting for 40 years, spanning two generations as a well-respected family business. In 2000, the business expanded to include full-service contracting and design services, and Interior Transformation was born.

Our Mission

As any of our clients will tell you, Interior Transformation prides itself on a job well done. For us, this means delivering projects on time, on budget and to our clients’ complete satisfaction.

Kevin McCracken

Kevin McCracken is founder and principle of Interior Transfofmation, Inc. Kevin has worked in the building trades for the past 20 years. After years of working as a tradesman, he decided to expand and create Interior Transformation. He has spent a decade building his present crews, and relationships with other trusted tradesman. Kevin and his team offer a wealth of different services to help bring your home to the next level of modernization and comfort.

Kevin’s depth of experience, his personalized attention to the needs of his clients and his helpful suggestions for home improvements really define his talents. Out of a concern for responsible renovations, Kevin became certified as a Green Advantage Contractor.

Kevin lives in the East Village of New York City, and is a committed member of the New York community. He is actively involved in Canoesport, being a lifelong whitewater kayaker, and open canoe competitor and instructor, and he recently took up canoe sailing in the region. Kevin also spent 15 years practicing in the healing arts profession in New York City, and has been a practitioner of meditation for the past 10 years.

These unique experiences and qualities enable Kevin to give his clients in-depth information about comfortable design, and making living spaces truly enlivening and livable for every individual.
